Non-magnetic drill collar or Non-Mag pup joints produced by the High Chrome Molybdenum steel P530,P540,P550,P580 and P650 Non-Mag (Nonmagnetic Steel) 110Ksi.

Hardness: tested on a cross-section within a range of 20-25mm from the surface of the pipe.

(2) The impact specimen is a room temperature V-shaped 2MM notch.

1. Magnetic properties

Relative magnetic permeability MR<1.005 (actually within 1.003), magnetic induction gradient ≤ 0.04MT

4. Non magnetic products shall be tested according to ASTMA262 E method, and the sample shall have no intergranular corrosion cracks.

5. Non destructive testing

Ultrasonic testing: tested according to the ASTM E114 standard, and the acceptance criteria comply with API7-1 regulations.
