R95 steel grade should be quenched and tempered as per the API5CT standard.
Except for cold working necessary for normal straightening and with a compression cold working amount not exceeding 3%, R95 products shall not undergo stretching or expanding cold working after the final tempering operation.
All R95 steel grade PSL-2 pipes should be inspected for longitudinal and transverse defects on the inner and outer surfaces using one or more methods according to acceptance level L2. Magnetic particle inspection is only allowed as an additional full-length inspection method.
