Copper Alloy C36000 Brass Solid Round Bar

Copper Alloy C36000 Brass Solid Round Bar

The lead content of C36000 lead brass gives it excellent cutting performance during processing. The addition of lead greatly reduces the friction between metal and cutting tools, making machining smoother and particularly suitable for high-speed cutting. This makes C36000 lead brass one of the widely used materials in mechanical engineering, particularly suitable for the processing of precision parts.

Copper (Cu): The main component, with a content range of 57.0% to 63.5%, provides basic strength and corrosion resistance for alloys.

Zinc (Zn): As a residual element, it reduces material costs while regulating the mechanical properties of alloys.Lead (Pb): a key functional element with significant differences in content, with some standards ranging from 0.2% to 3.7% and others limited to ≤ 0.08%. Its function is to significantly improve cutting performance.

Impurity elements: including iron (Fe), phosphorus (P), bismuth (Bi), etc., with a total amount usually ≤ 0.5%, and some standards have stricter restrictions on iron (≤ 0.15%).
